Santa Barbara Veterans Foundation is a group of local veterans and business men & women who gather our forces to support our 'local' veterans. We are a non-profit and no one receives a salary. All our efforts and dollars raised stay within the tri-counties of Santa Barbara!

 

Assist in planning the 'Salute to the Vets' annual fundraising benefit event for four consecutive years, raising money for local veterans programs in the Santa Barbara area. Meet with board members to discuss events and check in with duties. Book entertainment. Organize and host vintage Pin-up Girl Contest.

Design flyers for bands, sponsors, vintage pin-up contest and event schedule. Design advertisements for print in local papers and online. Manage media campaign, including website, Facebook page, Facebook event page and Instagram account. Create original promo videos. Secure local sponsorships and donations. Community outreach, such as speaking at local veterans and business events. Plan and speak live on local on KEYT and KKFX11 stations.
